Off the Deep End

The first fish fry was off the hook!  Great fish and great people, what more can you ask for?  What's that?  A photo with me?  But of course...

We interrupt this blog with a Song of the Sea... here's underwater music minister Seamour Shrimp:

I'd like to take a moment to promote the Christ the Servant Parish Spring Cash Giveaway.  Just click this link to find out how you can win $20,000.  Now click here to begin selling tickets to win $5,000.  All proceeds go to Christ the Servant Parish Schools: The Center for Early Learning, The Enrichment Arts Academy and of course, Our Lady of Peace School.

The OLOP Kids serve the fish at the fish fries. It's personal service like that that sets the Christ the Servant Fish Fry apart.  I talked to a couple of them about how they liked school...

See you at the Fish Fry!  And remember...

You can also get your SPRING CASH GIVEAWAY tickets at the fry. Click here to see the many ways to win $20,000, $15,000 or $5,000.  Remember: we are only selling 1,000 tickets so make sure you buy yours this Friday to get in on the action!

Did I mention that I am a publisher now?
You heard me.  I am taking my stardom to a new level... as publisher of the Fish Fry Times. Without dropping any names... I happen to know a guy who publishes a local newspaper, and I thought, "Hey... if he can do it, so can I!" So click the link for the first edition of the FISH FRY TIMES.

As is the way of things, we can't keep running these publications without ads... so here's a shameless advertisement for Our Lady of Peace School.

See you Friday at the Fish Fry!  Be there... or stink like yesterday's catch!

Countdown to Crispiness

For those of you who aren't familiar with Christ the Servant Parish's most famous (really, click the link) Fish Fry Mascot, let me introduce myself.  My name is Fishop Phillip Atolop.  I dabble in this Lenten blog in an effort to secure my standing as a social media star, and to, as always, promote the best fish fry… ever... at Christ the Servant Parish (formerly the Our Lady of Peace and St. Paul's Canton Fish Fry).

Please enjoy this trilogy of my early work:

If you've ever even heard of the Bible, you know that God likes to present a challenge to his people. I believe our challenge is clear.  In 2011, we sold more than 4,000 fish dinners.  That's a lot of fish!  But with your help, we can do even better this year.  The magic number?

That's 800 dinners per fry.  And it shouldn't be hard when you boil it down to what we have to offer over the competition:
  • Mouthwatering fish, shrimp, homemade pierogies and macaroni and cheese.
  • Baked or fried? You decide.  Or get a dinner-sized pierogies or mac n cheese!
  • High-quality, freshly cooked meal brought to your table.  Because, hey, no one likes fish that's been sitting out on some buffet.
  • Friendly individualized service by our fresh-faced 7th and 8th grade student wait staff.
  • Uniformed security and parking attendants to safely assist with traffic (That's right... uniforms. These guys are professional security. We don't mess around.)
  • Drive-thru service -- in case you think you have something better to do on a Friday night, you can still have your fish and eat it too!
  • Taggarts Ice Cream sundae bar
Don't forget our LIQUOR LICENSE! Here's the Codinal with more on that...

So now we Countdown to the Golden Fried Crispiness... Just 10 More Days!

See you at the first Christ the Servant Fish Fry (and of course all subsequent fish fries) of 2012.
