4,000. The *MAGIC* Number

4,000 dinners this Lenten Season
We CAN DO IT, but we need your help.  Come to the fish fry Friday night! If you are sick of Fried Fish... get the baked... or get shrimp!  Too nice outside to eat indoors?  Go through the Carry-out drive thru and take it to the park!  Better yet... bring a blanket and eat on the front lawn of the church.  Whatever.  Just buy the fish.  Buy the Shrimp.  Buy the mac & cheese and pierogi.  MAKE THE POPEFISH HAPPY!

For those of you who ADORE the fish at Christ the Servant Parish...
this is the LAST FISH FRY!

And now a shameless advertisement for our
Center for Early Learning Summer Program for ages 2 1/2 to 6 years.

See you at the Fish Fry!

The Popefish is Coming! The Popefish is Coming! A NEW GOAL!

His Holyfish is on his way.  It's going to be a busy week of preparations.  In this video, The Codinal talks to Fish Fry customers (their enthusiasm is overwhelming!) about how they will prepare for the Popefish's visit and gets some interesting responses.

TUNE IN TOMORROW FOR AN UPDATE ON THE POPEFISH's PROGRESS FROM ROME!

While the Popefish packs his bags, you can unload your extra baggage at the Penance Service at Christ the Servant Parish Tuesday Night!  7PM at Our Lady of Peace Church.  Nine priests will be there... so you won't miss your bedtime! (Why is Penance Important? Click Here)

Lots of hard work goes into making all that fish and side dishes.  Here's the Codinal with a behind the scenes with the Pierogi Ladies:

We need you to mark your calendars to attend this FINAL FISH FRY for the Lenten Season!  It could be recordbreaking... so you know you want to be a part of it all!  Fish Fry Friday Night!  Be there... or we're sending Catherine Margaret Crab after you!

I. Am. A. National. Sensation.

A NATIONALLY recognized reporter wrote an article about the "Tails of the Fishop" Blog today in the publication, "Catholic School Chronicles."*

*Insert cocky swagger here

titled *drumroll please*

Tails of the Fishop: A Clever Fish Fry Promotion

(They called me clever!)

Also Amazing!  More than 2,000 Hits on a Fish Fry Blog!

In my musings today, I wondered if this was how Shari Lewis got her start... except that fish in varying heights of mitres are, in my opinion, far more interesting than "Lambchop."

Yes... I'm getting more and more popular... so I decided to take a trip this week... to the visit the BRIGHT LIGHTS of Las Vegas!

They say what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas... but on April 12, Nine area priests will be available at Christ the Servant Parish to hear confessions at 7:00 pm for the Lenten Penance Service.

See you at the Fish Fry Friday Night!  4:30 to 7pm!  Stations of the Cross at 7pm!

Somebody Call the Doctor! I've got Fish Fry Fever!

You voted!  Reception or the Oil and Clive Clam has been redeemed!  Our new villian is Arty Angler for Menacing.  Be sure to vote!

He would certainly wind up in the Principal's office... just like I did!  I got to spend a day with Our Lady of Peace School Principal Dr. Lois Cavucci today!  It's not that I was invited to do this... I just wanted her to know even though she is the doctor... I'm the one doing the checking up.  So I popped in on her several times to see how her day was going.  The Codinal even tries to get some backstory on her from the school secretary.

Here's The Codinal challenging Dr. Cavucci to some Fish Fry Trivia!

Fish Fry Friday Night!  Be there... or get sent straight to the Principal's Office!

Be Not Afraid... The Miss Schmader Interview

I remember my days in Susan Schmader's class at Our Lady of Peace School.  An excellent teacher... I sent Sister Catherine Margaret Crab to speak with Miss Schmader in this first installment of "Catholic Education and You!" Former OLOP Teacher Lucia Cirese also makes an appearance in this interview:

Now that you've seen that video... I'm sure you want to know when to sign your child up for school next year! See this shameless advertisement and click the link below for more information.

Verdict: Fishilicious... and More Photos with the Fishop

No Fooling!  Lots of people insisted on having their picture taken with me at this past week's Fish Fry on April 1.

Judge Taryn Heath even got into the action with this CodCast! (at this point, I have stopped numbering them!)
