Songs of the Sea

Today is Mardi Gras, Fat Tuesday, the day before the best time of year... Fish Fry Time. We even have a new sign in front of the Parish... as the Codinal will show you as he accosts a random citizen in the CodCast:

It’s also Lent… a solemn and busy time for a member of the Catholic Church. So busy in fact, that every man of the cloth really looks to his lay sidekick at this time of year.  Today I would like to introduce to you my sidekick... Seamour Shrimp.  Seamour is my personal underwater music minister, and he serves the underwater congregation of Christ the Servant Parish.  Here's a little backstory on Seamour, his calling and how we met.

Now Seamour is my number one music shrimp.  He's shaved that seedy beard, cut his hair and now wears the finest robes.

You can meet me, Seamour, the Codinal, the Popefish and a whole host of monkfish at the Christ the Servant Fish Fry this Friday night.  We will be offering Fishop photo opportunities as well, so bring the whole family down for a portrait!  Baked or Fried... You Decide!  See you at the Fish Fry!
